The P'X5 software suite combines powerful technologies to meet your exacting business needs. Five "engines", whose functionalities can be combined flexibly to create customized solutions, form the nucleus of the powerful P'X5 software suite:

P'X5 Configuration Engine

masters the most complex configuration tasks, provides spatial planning functionality, and controls the generation / transformation of different parts lists for sales, production, design, and service. The knowledge base uses rule-based logic and a script-based expression language in order to create model-based maps of product modularization, technical calculations, interaction concepts and workflows.

P'X5 Sales Engine

provides functions for the e-catalog, project-oriented sales, sales-oriented cost calculation / price determination / discounting, offer generation and order processing. Calculation schemes and approval processes can be defined applying commercial rules.

P’X5 Presentation Engine

provides comfortable interaction and visualization in 3D, 2D, and text; supports the generation and output of various documents such as PDF, PDF 3D, JT, VRML, DWG, Excel and XML, among others.

P’X5 Connectivity Engine

permits the smooth exchange of master and order data between P'X5 and the CAD, PDM, ERP and CRM systems in the IT backbone.

P’X5 Content Engine

provides product knowledge managers with powerful tools for harmonizing sales-related product information, as well as for maintaining the product knowledge base.

High IT integration capability and flexibility

With P'X5 you can harmonize tools which have been used up to now in a project-planning environment which is shared by Sales and Application Development. Support for open standards such as XML, XSLT, SOAP, as well as various file formats (DXF, DWG, JT, PDF) and interfaces with third-party systems, such as ERP, CRM, PDM or CA, permits seamless embedding of P'X5 into your existing process sequences and IT backbone systems. The modular combination of the required P'X5 functionalities allows you to implement P'X5 software in your company in stages and according to your needs.
