Achieving strategic corporate goals with CPQ software
With CPQ: Imola Retail Solutions, one of the leading international providers of furnishing solutions for the retail sector, digitized its sales processes at an early stage with the Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) solution P'X Industry Solution. Today, the company is achieving its strategic corporate goals
and benefits from it in the long term.
Imola Retail Solutions is a leading international partner for retail design for retail chains and specialist retailers in the food and non-food sectors, which has been part of the Swedish ITAB Group since 2021, under whose umbrella the HMY and La Fortezza brands also operate. The P'X Industry Solution from Perspectix was introduced back in 2017 as the optimal software for the business with individual furnishing solutions consisting of configurable product lines. The comprehensive CPQ software digitalizes all technical and commercial aspects of a furniture manufacturer's and shopfitter's sales operations end-to-end. The powerful product configurator includes 3D models, technical calculations and rules as well as price information. "With the CPQ software from Perspectix, we are able to fulfill our customers' wishes very precisely while keeping an eye on all technical specifications and the budget," explains Matheus Tudela de Sá, Sales Engineer. "This enables our sales staff and partners to create successful quotations quickly. We can later adapt these flexibly to new circumstances and transfer them to other branches."
Effective maintenance of the product portfolio thanks to CPQ
In addition to the sustainable improvement of sales processes, product management uses the P'X Industry Solution for product lifecycle management. "While our turnover has risen continuously, we have halved the number of active products in relation to this," reports Matheus Tudela de Sá. "Our products can be reused and last longer."
Quickly market new product lines with CPQ
When the company joined the ITAB Group in 2021, further solutions such as checkout counters, heavy-duty shelving, barriers and guidance systems from the ITAB brand were integrated into the CPQ software P'X Industry Solution and brought to the international market via the sales organization within a very short space of time. Imola Retail Solutions was also able to quickly transfer its own product lines to ITAB and the recently associated provider HMY. The desired synergy effects within the group are thus becoming a reality: "We offer the most comprehensive portfolio, from which we can immediately respond to every request with a perfect solution," says Matheus Tudela de Sá.
Further expansion planned
In future, the manager will continue to drive forward the implementation of the P'X Industry Solution. By the end of 2025, around 160 users in southern Europe will be using the software.
