New industry solution for machine and plant manufacturers
With the new version 14 of the P'X Industry Solution, Perspectix makes it even easier for machine and plant manufacturers to virtually configure product systems and visualize them in buildings. Faster and more secure import of building data (BIM) and revised rendering functions improve the user experience.
The P'X Industry Solution combines 3D product catalogs, complex product logic and parametric data, and a wide range of design calculations, enabling error-free configuration of complex machines and systems. Integrated with ERP, CRM, PDM, and CAD systems, the CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system supports global sales organizations in planning, design, presentation, and documentation. From product development to technical sales to assembly, a digital highway is created on which sales projects reach top speed.
Plant design in hall dimensions
With the new main version 14 of P'X Industry Solution, machines and systems can now be set up even more easily in the virtual installation space. A new workflow makes importing building data more secure and efficient. The planning and management of multiple floors, section and cutout levels facilitates collaboration between multiple departments as well as 3D export. The plant components, which can be configured with over 100 parameters and constraints, are placed in the IFC format of Building Information Modeling (BIM) using drag and drop. This applies to configured machines as well as to third-party objects.
Realistic rendering
Rendering has been modernized in version 14 for the successful presentation and visualization of machines and systems in sales processes. This ensures smooth, responsive, and scalable display even for demanding projects. The modern OpenGL pipeline has been equipped with efficient GPU data paths, VBO-based rendering, and special shaders.
Version 14 offers performance improvements in rendering, configuration in the context of large buildings, and management and monitoring of internal data storage. New application scenarios in product development and production show that consistent use by plant engineers significantly improves planning and coordination with customers. Data exchange with customers, partners, and suppliers also accelerates projects and increases added value.
In addition, version 14 brings important improvements to the platform and overall user-friendliness, as well as productivity gains for authors. The new version will be available in April 2026.
