Gondella expands customer service with the P'X Industry Solution
Gondella supports retail chains throughout Europe in opening and optimizing stores with tailor-made furnishing concepts, modular shelving systems and the production of individual store fittings. In May 2024, the company decided to improve customer communication and internal efficiency with powerful 3D visualizations, plans and quotes from Perspectix's P'X Industry Solution.
With consulting expertise and a wide range of products for supermarkets, DIY stores, but also drugstores, garden centers and pet stores, Gondella has been offering complete store fittings from a single source for over 60 years. The customer service team at the international company's headquarters in Nazareth, Belgium, uses information from the sales department to develop solutions with all the technical details for internal and external customers. In addition to Belgian customers, the team already supports sales processes in branches in France, Spain and the UK. Other countries will follow.
Decision in favor of Perspectix
Gondella spent some time looking for a 3D configurator with visualization: "The visual aspect is becoming increasingly important when making decisions about store renovations," says Frederic Declercq, General Manager of Gondella, Belgium. "We feel obliged to quickly provide our customers with a readable offer with visualizations for a better understanding of their planned investment." After an intensive selection process, feasibility studies and clarification of technical details, the company opted for the P'X Industry Solution from Perspectix in May 2024. The comprehensive 3D configurator with calculation and visualization options is integrated with their ERP system Microsoft Business Central. The system is now being rolled out at Gondella.
Efficient configuration with convincing presentation
"With the P'X Industry Solution, we will create concepts and offers faster, more efficiently and more convincingly," says Frederic Declercq. In particular, offers with numerous standard elements such as shelves and gondolas, as required for the food markets of larger customers, are already benefiting from this. For new concepts, the customizable elements from 3D catalogs only need to be placed in the store environment by 'drag and drop'. All components are automatically included in parts lists that are sent to Business Central for quotation generation. "By reducing the complexity of the order process, we will shorten our lead times, avoid errors during production and installation and delight customers with the presentation of their store concept," says Frederic Declercq.
