How HORNBACH Digitizes DIY Store Planning with Perspectix

In just 14 months, HORNBACH Baumarkt AG implemented the P'X Retail Solution from Perspectix for planning its 171 DIY superstores and garden centers in nine European countries. For this purpose, Perspectix transferred around 1200 types of product carriers and 10,000 planograms from a legacy system into realistic 3D representations. To date, around 3.800 users in head offices, store management and departments are working web-based on individual store plans to improve the customer shopping experience and productivity on around two million square meters of sales floor.

As a pioneer of DIY megastores with garden centers, HORNBACH is now one of the five largest suppliers in Europe. The family-run company operates 171 DIY megastores with garden centers in nine countries, with a total of 25,000 employees across two million square meters of sales area. With an average of 11,900 square meters of sales area per store, its distinctive product range competence and wealth of experience are intended to make HORNBACH the number one supplier for projects undertaken by both commercial and private customers.
