As a data hub between product development, sales and end customers, the P'X Industry Solution integrates with the prevailing ERP, CAD and PDM systems and enables configuration on the Internet. A new data storage structure in the P'X Central Repository makes these central functions considerably easier and opens up a way to the cloud for users. At the same time, the security and stability of access to project data has been significantly improved. The "Central Source of Truth" makes all the latest project data accessible for every device. This improves collaboration in globally distributed sales organizations as well as communication with end customers. New products can be brought to the global market faster and more securely.

Better cooperation

Simultaneous collaboration on large configuration projects is now better supported. A new Configurations Collaboration Mode enables the granular reservation of individual parts within configurations and improves the distributed collaboration of many employees on a joint project. The configuration of large machines and systems can now be carried out more quickly and securely.

Cloud architecture

With the introduction of the new data storage in the P'X Central Repository, all important components of the P'X Industry Solution such as the P'X Consumer Communicator, the P'X Update Server and the P'X Print Server have been converted into Docker images and thus made cloud capable.

Higher performance and user-friendliness

Over 130 detailed improvements increase the user-friendliness and performance of the P'X Industry Solution. Higher rendering speed is achieved through geometry clustering. Faster visualization of DWG files saves waiting times. The interface to Building Information Modeling (BIM) for importing and exporting IFC files now works faster and with better quality.  

The new version 13 of the P'X Industry Solution seamlessly integrates product development, sales organization and end customers of industrial companies on a cloud-enabled platform. It increases the efficiency of sales functions through seamless, digital processes including a web configurator and increases customer satisfaction with complex, individually configured goods. The new version will be available at the end of the first quarter of 2024.
